Much of the insistence for I (or Sapphy) to form a relationship with Mr. P comes from a conviction.
This belief may be a misconception.
Though the answer I make is not validated, the answer I present when read could be obvious enough to such it resonates as true.
This inquiry or interest was followed because repeatedly I feel pressured into a friendship with MP I have zero interest in. To dissipate the force and to safeguard me, I search to satisfy puzzling questions for Sapphy, her Fam, and I.

Please let me have a pardon, when I emerge the subject about the Ex of MP. I saw her wear silk in the past, I think. I'll give her the nickname Silken.
While verifying info about Mr. P what it conjured up as well were sources made available that publicized how successful Silken is. I didn't want to pry, but if they made it freely available for all, maybe it was okay that I look. Until recently, I've been very ignorant about the success of Silken.
What I found is unbelievable.

Is the cause of Silken success due to Mr. P?

There is a noticeable difference in success between Mr. P and Silken. ( I hope it is not rude to say. ) The source informed Silken's success is higher.
Considering similarities, the success of Silken has a resemblance to a popular Friend she has.
I will call her Ms. Fit Fast. (May I call her Fit Fast? Will she mind? It's a good name. )
Because of Fit Fast's popularity news is widespread about her, and the same info as Silken is shared freely.

The conclusion is, my guess is the cause for the success of Silken, instead of MP,
it may be the prime influence of Fit Fast.

Mentors (or mentor figures) are usually attracted to people who truly appreciate them and want to meet.
You can connect to MP to connect to Silken or Fit Fast, or you can connect directly to Fit Fast. (Silken leads to MP, so depending on your goal to approach Fit Fast can work better.)
If you want a connection, simply go after the connection.

Beforehand, you could make a group of songs. Mentors can give you the essential boost toward your first steps.
Paper #2 is not about Silken or Fit Fast.
